Tina Cox

Atina, known to her friends and family as Tina, gained early exposure to the importance of physiotherapy at the age of 13 when she underwent two major foot operations and required intense physiotherapy to re-learn how to walk. Her personal experience of the ups and downs of recovery following multiple major abdominal surgeries, including three caesarean sections and one revision surgery, further fuelled her passion for improving women's health.

Tina's dedication to patient care, whether in sporting environments or the NHS, has exposed her to a wide variety of patients, including musculoskeletal, elderly rehabilitation, community physiotherapy, and paediatric physiotherapy. With a Distinction in her MSc (pre-registration) Physiotherapy degree and a BSc (Hons) in Sports Rehabilitation, Tina brings vast knowledge and a deeper understanding to her patients. It enables her to think more functionally and holistically, bringing so much to the table when treating patients.

Her mission is to provide patients with support, advice, education, and treatment, along with bespoke and realistic plans to rehabilitate and progress. Tina's focus on individual patient needs ensures that her patients have the fundamental skills to continue progressing autonomously.

In addition to her professional pursuits, Tina enjoys outdoor running in her spare time, challenges herself on the Peloton bike, and practices pilates and swimming. She believes in maintaining an active lifestyle and enjoys various physical activities to keep fit and healthy. Tina also keeps busy at home by testing her cooking and baking skills on her husband and three little ones!
